That's right, they're back! Every Thursday this month, theaters all across the country have been screening Ghostbusters in a theatrical re-release. It was done in anticipation for Ghostbusters 3, which comes to theaters next year. At first I wondered "Why do that? Why not just wait 'till 2014, the 30th anniversary of the film's release?" Then I remember, "Oh, wait, why do I care? It's Ghostbusters!" That being said, the reasons for the re-release don't matter much to me. What matters is that Ghostbusters was a blast! Besides being a laugh, riot, the films graphics, though from the 80s, are timeless. I have never enjoyed a movie so much in my life, and I'm lucky I heard about it for the last screening. So, if you didn't see the re-release, you'll have to contain your excitement until next year when Ghostbusters 3 comes to theaters. Did any of you see it? What did you think?
